The Paulsboro High School Nurse's Office is dedicated to ensuring a healthy and safe environment so every student can focus on learning. Our certified school nurse provides comprehensive services, promoting wellness and immediate care throughout the school day.
Care of emergency sickness or injury that occurs in school
Communicable disease prevention and control
Determination of health needs
Follow-up and interpretation of health needs to students and parents
Perform annual health screenings (yearly height, weight and blood pressure, rotating basis for vision, hearing and scoliosis)
Coordinate sports paperwork and conduct sports physicals in May and November
Administer medications
Review immunizations
In addition to these services, meditation is offered in the health office every morning before school at 7:50am.
